JSTOR

JSTOR (Journal Storage) is an online academic journal archiving system setup in 1995.

The idea of of JSTOR was conceived by William Bowen[?] as a solution to the problems of libraries to deal with the problem (both cost and spacewise) caused the increasing number of academic journals in existence.
