Joseph Salemi

Joseph "Pete" Salemi ( September 15, 1902- January 17, 2003 ) was an American jazz trombonist. Although born in Sicily, Salemi came to the United States in his teens. As a trombonist, Salemi played with Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland.

Interestingly, Salemi played at the inaugurations of both Presidents Harry Truman and Dwight Eisenhower. Salemi usually played with the Gene Kardos Orchestra, but also played with other various big bands.
