Joseph Lovero

Joseph Lovero was a fire dispatcher for the Jersey City Fire Dept. He died from injuries received from falling debris from the World trade Center. He leaves behind a brother, 2 daughters, a son, and two granddaughters, as well as many friends who love him. Joe was also an active member of the Jersey City Gong Club, an emergency service canteen and rehab unit that serves the firefighters of Jersey City and Hudson County. Joe's funeral was attended by three sister canteens, as well as friends from fire depts in three states. It was a fitting tribute to someone that spent much of his life surrounded by the fire service. He is very missed.
