Hello, my name is Joseph E. Saad, I am a Canadian/Christian/Arab, who was born in Palestine, before the 1967 war. We came to this country Canada, after 1967 as refugees, if you want to see my history look under Palestine then under the sub heading Palestine/Commentary . I have a great interest in history, and work as a library technician, in Canada. I try and remain moderate in my views on Palestine, and pray for the Peace Now movement, between Jews and Arabs.

Hi Joseph, and welcome. I see your are adding links to Palestine and the Middle East to the top of various pages. I think it is better to have these at the bottom of the pages. I mean, it is a bit strange to go an article, e.g. Ammonites, and then right away be suggested to go a different article. What do you think? --css

Thanks, Yes I noticed that, you are right. I am trying to make the see also links, relevant, because when someone does a search, they should know to look at other topics that relate to that same subject, what do you think?

I think the bottom is ok, but some encyclopedias have "see also" lines or links at the beginning, but the end is ok too. I am easy, as long as all relevant topics are addressed.

Hello everyone, there has been much discussion and speculation, about me, and whether or not I really exist…?

I am in fact a real person, and do exist, I am what I say I am: a Palestinian (Canadian/Christian/Arab), who was born in Palestine, before the 1967 war. My family brought me here to Canada when I was 4 ˝ years old.

I am not sure how I can prove it, perhaps do a Google search on me, I am reluctant to divulge too much information about myself, because of the fanatics & weirdoes out there.

However, I was happy to speak with Uriyan, who I felt was sincere in his efforts to present the conflicts in the Middle East with a reasonable Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. I too say to him, it was nice, the time we spent working on articles, it was nice to think that some people can try to see the other side.

I only hope & pray that Peace will one day come to the Middle East & Palestine/Israel/Holy Land, and that one day I can take my wife & kids to the land of my birth, that I cannot live in now.

Please pray for Peace

Sincerely,

Joseph E. Saad (Proud Canadian, Palestinian Refugee)
