Jonathan Archer
Jonathan Archer is the captain of the Starship Enterprise (NX-01).
His father was a part of the early starfleet team to help design the Enterprise, so it was only fitting that Jonathan took command.
Archer also has a pet on his ship, a dog named Porthos who is very fond of cheese.
In the early episodes, it is made very clear by Archer that he does not trust Vulcans. Oddly, he has been assigned Vulcan officer T'Pol as his second in command science officer.
Scott Bakula plays the role of Jonathan Archer.
The character of Jonathan Archer was going to be originally called Jeffery Archer[?].
