Jon Appleton

A composer of electronic, electro-acoustic[?] and acoustic music, Jon Appleton currently teaches at the Bregman Electronic Music Studio at Dartmouth College. Appleton is one of the creators and an early virtuoso of the Synclavier. He has received Guggenheim, Fulbright, National Endowment for the Arts, National Endowment for the Humanities and American-Scandinavian Foundation fellowships.

Some of his works include:

  • Stereopticon (1972)
  • Degitaru Ongaku (1983)
  • Homenaje á Milanes (1987)
