Jolley is a city located in Calhoun County, Iowa. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 54.

Geography Jolley is located at 42°28'45" North, 94°43'5" West (42.479239, -94.718127)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²). 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 54 people, 28 households, and 12 families residing in the city. The population density is 173.7/km² (469.1/mi²). There are 39 housing units at an average density of 125.5/km² (338.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 1.85% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 28 households out of which 21.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 35.7% are married couples living together, 10.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 53.6% are non-families. 50.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 25.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 1.93 and the average family size is 2.92.

In the city the population is spread out with 22.2% under the age of 18, 11.1% from 18 to 24, 20.4% from 25 to 44, 27.8% from 45 to 64, and 18.5% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 42 years. For every 100 females there are 134.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 121.1 males.
