Johnston Atoll

Johnston Atoll is a 2.8 sq kilometer atoll in the North Pacific Ocean, about one-third of the way from Hawaii to the Marshall Islands. The atoll has no indigenous inhabitants, though there are an average of 1,100 US military and civilian contractor personnel present.
