Joe Haldeman

Joe Haldeman (born June 9, 1943) is an American science fiction author.

His novel The Forever War won both the Hugo and Nebula Awards

The Forever War Trilogy:

The Forever War (1975)
Forever Peace (1991)
Forever Free (1999)

Forever Peace is neither a sequel nor a prequel to The Forever War, while Forever Free brings back William and Mary Gay Mandella.
