American actor, a.k.a. Leaf Phoenix. He often plays supporting roles as conflicted characters plagued with self doubt. Phoenix established himself as a child actor in Parenthood[?], portrayed a troubled teen in To Die For[?] and has earned positive reviews for adult roles as a mad emperor in Gladiator, a priest in Quills and a washed-up baseball player in Signs. He is the younger brother of River Phoenix.
