Jewish mythology

The stories about God and biblical characters accoring to Jewish tradition. The basic characters are found in the Torah (five books of Moses) and the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible, Old Testament) and Talmud. The greatest source of legends about characters in these works can be found in the Midrash literature.
