Jean-Claude Duvalier

Jean-Claude Duvalier (aka. Bébé Doc or Baby Doc) (born July 3, 1951) is a former President of Haiti.

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

In April 1971, 19-year-old Jean-Claude Duvalier assumed the presidency of Haiti upon the death of his father, François Duvalier. He held on to power until February 7, 1986 when, in response to three months of protest against the government's political and economic repression, he fled the country and settled in France.
