The racial makeup of the county is 89.58% White, 2.27% African American, 6.16% Native American, 0.16% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 1.01% from other races, and 0.79% from two or more races. 1.87% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
