Jackalope

The jackalope is a fictitious cross between a jackrabbit[?] and an antelope, and is usually portrayed as a rabbit with antlers. Contrived mounted heads of jackalopes are often found for sale in some novelty stores. Most commonly, the jackalope story is used to play tricks on tourists.

It is unknown when the legend was begun, although it goes back at least to the 1950s. The jackalope was featured in the US television show America's Funniest People, where it would laugh a lot while playing mean tricks on people.
