Jack Chick

Jack Chick is the creator of comic-style tracts and larger comic books for the purpose of Christian evangelism in a fundamentalist theology. His comics mostly address certain practices, such as neopaganism, Catholicism and homosexuality which most fundamentalist Christians believe are sinful.

The graphics are often crude, but striking. Some critics have observed that in form Chick's comics present Jesus as a superhero in an alternate universe in which sins are punished in Biblical style. Because of their superficially unsophisticated graphic style and strongly dogmatic messages, the comics are also popular with some non-Christian-fundamentalists who consider them humorous.

Chick Publications also publish conventional non-graphic books on these same topics.
