Jacek Skalmierski

Author of the first widely popular English-Polish, Polish-English dictionary software. Its version for DOS monopolized the market in the early 1990s, and had thousands of enthusiastic users. However, the version for Windows did not match the original in popularity. In the late 1990s, it was largely displaced by the Collins dictionary by Young Digital Poland[?]
