Cosmicomics

In Cosmicomics, Calvino takes a scientific fact as a starting point for a surprising story. E.G. Fact: At one stage in evolution animals left the sea and came to live on land. Story: A family living on land is a bit ashamed of their old uncle who still lives in the sea and refuses to come ashore like civilized people. Especially at Christmas it's really embarrassing.
