Italian East Africa

Italian East Africa (officially Africa d'Italia) was a territory of Italian Colonies in Africa, conquered in 20th century during Fascism and lost at the end of WWII.

It included Ethiopia and Somalia. For some conveniences, Libya too was sometimes included in the definition. All these countries were embodied in the national territory as colonies.

In particular, with the defeat of Hailé Selassié[?], Ethiopia gave Italy the temporary dignity of Empire.
