Ishi

Ishi (? - 1916) was claimed to be the last California Yahi Indian. He was discovered in 1911 in the foothills near Mt. Lassen. His story was popularized in a book by Theodora Kroeber[?], wife of A.L. Kroeber, who worked with Ishi.
