IPAQ

The iPAQ Pocket PC is a handheld computer[?] and personal digital assistant first introduced by Compaq in November 1999. Since Hewlett Packard's acquisition of Compaq, the product has been marketed by HP.

The device is the main competition to the Palm Pilot, but provides more multimedia capabilities and the familiar Microsoft Windows interface.

As of April 2003, the latest version is the h5455, which has an Intel 400 MHz processor and 64 MB of SDRAM and weighs less than half a pound. It runs Windows Pocket PC 2002.
