Intel 8085

The 8085 is an obsolete microprocessor made by Intel. It was binary compatible with the more-famous Intel 8080 but required less supporting hardware. Both processors were sometimes used in computers running the CP/M operating sytem, and the 8085 later saw use as a microcontroller, but both designs were eclipsed by the Zilog Z80.

See List of Intel microprocessors.
