Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 2,061 people, 722 households, and 581 families residing in the township. The population density is 24.4/km² (63.1/mi²). There are 737 housing units at an average density of 8.7/km² (22.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 97.23% White, 0.10% African American, 0.49% Native American, 0.29% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.58% from other races, and 1.31% from two or more races. 1.41% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
