Information design

Information design refers to the design of information systems. It comprises the aspects data modelling and process analysis[?].

Data modelling refers to the analysis and design of the information in the system, concentrating on the logical entities and the logical dependencies between these entities. In a later stage, logical data models may be translated into physical data models.

Process analysis[?] refers to the analysis and design of the processes in which the data is transformed and moved.
