This unlucky individual I found with a broken wing, in Northern Sardinia, on July 2002. The background is obviously not natural (a temporary place we put it in, while waiting for specialised assistance). The bird was some 25cm long and, after an initial obvious terror, soon turned friendly toward us. The picture doesn't precisely show how wonderful its colors are in the reality.

We named it Pasqualino :-) --Gianfranco
