Image:Loshinsky 1930 albino pickaninny chess proble.png

A chess problem (mate in 2) by Lev Loshinsky[?] showing Albino tries and Pickaninny[?] defences. First published in Moskau-Rostow in 1930.

Note: this may be a version/correction of Loshinsky's original--the version in the Loshinsky monograph downloadable from the Problemiste website (http://perso.wanadoo.fr/problemiste/collecto.htm) lacks the black pawn on h4 (which stops the additional defence 1...Nh4 after 1.e4). The problem as presented here is taken from the downloadable Dictionaire des Echecs by François Le Lionnais and Ernst Maget (available from the same site).

Like all problems, in the public domain. Image made by User:Camembert using ChessBase[?] 6 and Photoshop.
