Hyperlexia

Hyperlexia is an autistic syndrome. The autistic part means that people have difficulty in social interaction. The specific hyperlexic challenge is that hyperlexic people have difficulty learning to speak. The rules for forming words and sentences are not easily learned from examples nor trial and error.
