Hurricane Lili

Hurricane Lili went through the Gulf of Mexico in the first few days of October 2002, hitting Lousiana October 3rd. An NOAA aircraft reported sustained winds near 140 MPH, putting Lili at Category 4 on the Saffir-Simpson scale.
