Horrid Henry

Horrid Henry could be considered the Dennis the Menace of the 1990s. By the end of 2002, he had terrorised his parents, friends and neighbours in a popular series of ten children's books by Francesca Simon. Alliterative adjectives are also used to describe other characters in the books, such as Perfect Peter, Moody Margaret and Sour Susan. By 2003, more than a million Horrid Henry books had been sold worldwide.
