Hoogstraten

Hoogstraten is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the city of Hoogstraten proper and the towns of Meer[?], Meerle[?], Minderhout[?] and Wortel[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Hoogstraten had a total population of 17,751 (9,074 males and 8,677 females). The total area is 105.24 km² which gives a population density of 168.67 inhabitants per km².
