Hood piercing

A hood piercing is a piercing through the hood surrounding a clitoris. There are two main types of hood piercing, the vertical hood and the horizontal hood. As the name indicates, the difference is in the direction the piercing is oriented in the skin above the clitoris. The vertical hood adds to clitoral sensitivity while the horizontal hood is primarily decorative.
