Hickory Hill is a city located in Jefferson County, Kentucky. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 144.

Geography Hickory Hill is located at 38°17'22" North, 85°34'4" West (38.289434, -85.567742)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.1 km² (0.0 mi²). 0.1 km² (0.0 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 144 people, 53 households, and 44 families residing in the city. The population density is 1,853.3/km² (5,244.4/mi²). There are 54 housing units at an average density of 695.0/km² (1,966.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 79.86% White, 10.42% African American, 0.00% Native American, 7.64% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 2.08% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 53 households out of which 41.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 77.4% are married couples living together, 5.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 15.1% are non-families. 11.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.72 and the average family size is 2.98.

In the city the population is spread out with 25.7% under the age of 18, 4.2% from 18 to 24, 22.9% from 25 to 44, 29.9% from 45 to 64, and 17.4% who are 65 years of age or older.
