Herbert Crossley

Herbert Crossley (May 5, 1901 - November 15, 1921) was a heavyweight boxing contender against Gene Tunney on September 5, 1921, shortly after arriving in the United States from England. Tragically, Crossley died from pneumonia and septicemia on November 15, 1921 at the young age of 20 - ending a very promising career much too soon.
