The Helmet Law Defense League was founded in early 1993.
They hold the position that laws enforcing USmotorcyclists to wear helmets are unconstitutional for two reasons:
They question the State's right to impose safety regulation on individuals under the police powers.
They consider the term "helmet" to be to vague. A law has to be defined in a way that everyone knows exactly whether he complies to the law.
