Heart Like an Artichoke

Heart Like an Artichoke was an E.P. released in 2001 by singer/songwriter Easter Bradford. The album was named after a quote from a book by authoress Poppy Z. Brite. In her book "Lost Souls" a character describes another character who is promiscuous as having "Le coeur comme un artichaut (or "a heart like an artichoke") - a leaf for anyone, but makes a meal for no one." The album explored the concept of not making one's self totally available in a relationship.
