Head over Heels

Redirected from Head Over Heels

Head over Heels is an August 1983 (see 1983 in music) album by British synth pop group, the Cocteau Twins. The album was their first as a duo. Head over Heels is a mix of sonic textures, melodies and harmonies. Though the album's popularity has always been limited, its critical acceptance is virtually absolute, and its influence on countless future musicians well-documented. The album can be seen as the origin of much of the Britpop boom of the mid-1990s, and many of the styles which preceeded it, including shoegazing, twee pop and space rock.
