Hawaiian

The term Hawaiians refers primarily to the indigenous people of Hawaii. They are a Polynesian people who came by sea from the South Pacific. Their language is Hawaiian.

The word "Hawaiian" is also sometimes used for any resident of Hawaii, regardless of ancestry.
