Hasselt

Hasselt is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg, of which it is the capital. On January 1st, 2002 Hasselt had a total population of 68,771 (33,590 males and 35,181 females). The total area is 102.90 km² which gives a population density of 668.33 inhabitants per km².
