Harry Smith

Harry Smith (1923-1991) is a Bohemian, artist, eccentric. Best remembered for lovingly assembling the Anthology of American Folk Music[?], a collection of early folk, blues and country music. This seminal document of the folk & blues revival remains an inspiring and beautiful testament to both American country culture and the possibilities of anthology as an artform in itself. A fourth, previously unknown installment of the anthology has become available.
