Harrellsville is a town located in Hertford County, North Carolina. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 102.

Geography Harrellsville is located at 36°18'14" North, 76°47'24" West (36.303895, -76.790083)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.9 km² (0.3 mi²). 0.9 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 102 people, 47 households, and 36 families residing in the town. The population density is 119.3/km² (307.3/mi²). There are 50 housing units at an average density of 58.5/km² (150.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 75.49% White, 24.51% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 47 households out of which 29.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.6% are married couples living together, 12.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 21.3% are non-families. 21.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 14.9% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.17 and the average family size is 2.49.
