Hardware

Hardware is a word customarily used to describe tools, building and plumbing supplies. Hardware has been popularized by the multiplicity of "hardware stores", or stores that specialize in the selling of hardware. Such stores appeal to the stereotype that all men are fascinated with hardware and cannot get enough of it.
