Hans Duerer

Hans Duerer was born and died in Nuremberg. Hans Duerer became the court painter for Sigismund I of Poland. Hans Duerer as well as many other Nuremberg artists went to live and work in Krakow for some time, where there are still many of their artworks on display. His older brother was Albrecht Duerer, famous for his paintings and woodcuts.
