Hamme

Hamme is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Hamme proper and Moerzeke[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Hamme had a total population of 22,685 (11,323 males and 11,362 females). The total area is 40.98 km² which gives a population density of 553.56 inhabitants per km².
