Halsey is a village located in Nebraska. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 59.

Geography Halsey is located at 41°54'9" North, 100°16'5" West (41.902625, -100.268114)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.5 km² (0.2 mi²). None of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 59 people, 34 households, and 17 families residing in the village. The population density is 113.9/km² (299.0/mi²). There are 52 housing units at an average density of 100.4/km² (263.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 34 households out of which 14.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% are married couples living together, 2.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 47.1% are non-families. 47.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 23.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
