Haematopoietic stem cell

A Haematopoietic stem cell is a kind of cell that can give rise to two distinct kinds of next generations of cells:
  • Identical haematopoietic stem cells (self-renewal)
  • Multipotent progenitor cells (next step in differentiation) via haematopoiesis
