Gregory Blaxland

Gregory Blaxland discovered the first safe passage through Australia's Blue Mountains in 1813. He was accompanied by Lieutenant Lawson, William Charles Wentworth, 4 convicts, five dogs and 4 horses.

On their journey there was lack of food and water for the horses. they were stalked by aborigines and the geography of the mountains was very hard to navigate.

They found the passage through but when they returned they were not allowed any of the land that they dicovered.
