Graphics tablet

Graphics tablet: A computer peripheral device that allows for a relatively simple method of inputting hand-drawn graphics or art into a computer in real time. The first graphics tablet, created in 1964, was the RAND Tablet. The first home computer model to have an optional graphics tablet was the Commodore. This product was known as the Koala pad[?]. Other home computers, such as the Atari 8-bit line, also had graphics tablets available. Along with the light pen, the graphics tablet faded from popularity later in the decade. Graphics tablets are still available but are very expensive.
