Grandma Moses

Grandma Moses, whose real name was Anna Mary Robertson, was a renowned American folk artist. She was born on September 7, 1860, and died on December 13, 1961, at the age of 101. She began painting in 1938 after abandoning a career in embroidery because of arthritis.
