Gosnells

The City of Gosnells is located 17 kilometres South-East of the state capital Perth and has a population of about 80,000 people. It is around the same size as Paris, at 127 square kilometres.

The City was first developed by European settlers in 1829, with the loam soils and abundant waters of the Canning River running through the City providing the means for settlement of the region. The area is rich in historical buildings from times past, reflecting the lifestyle of the early pioneers and offering a unique opportunity to experience an integral part of Western Australia's history.

It is home to many community organisations such as the Foothills Rostrum Club and the RSL.

GoZnet.com, Community Lifestyle Network provides a range of Community and Business Listings, Local Events, Factsheets and other local content relating to Armadale and Gosnells City. Why not visit http://www.goznet.com for more information.

Sporting organisations found in Gosnells include the Gosnells Bowling club, Gosnells Cricket club and Gosnells Football club.
