Golcar is a hill town in the county of West Yorkshire, England, to the west of Huddersfield, and north of the River Colne[?] and the Huddersfield Narrow Canal[?].

Golcar's main industry was wool weaving, and an old weaver's cottage has been turned into the Colne Valley Museum[?]. The exhibits include a handloom and a Spinning Jenny[?], invented by James Hargreaves.
