Godesberg

Godesberg (roughly "god's mountain"), a hill in the Eifel mountains in the Rhineland, Germany. Bad Godesberg ("Bad" indicates a recreational region) is a town near Bonn in the Eifel, founded in 1210.

Godesberg is one of many places in Germany named after the highest Germanic pre-Christian god Wotan, Wodan, Gwodan etc
